and pre-installed binaries: SDL, SDL_image, SDL_mixer which use code from libmikmod, libpng and zlib

prequisites

  1. Install R for your OS. (see web-site www.r-project.org -> CRAN -> MIRROR -> YOUR OS).
  2. Install rdyncall: e.g. in R, type: 
    install.packages("rdyncall")
  3. Install library binaries: OpenGL, SDL, SDL_image and SDL_mixer for your OS
    Detailed instructions for your OS are described in reference manual of rdyncall; in R type: 
    library(rdyncall)

  4. .. and follow installation instructions for all required libs.

running from console

$ tar -xzvf soulsalicious.tar.gz
$ cd soulsalicious
$ Rscript fullscreen.R
.. or running in a window ..
$ Rscript windowed.R
